SWPC has received the the private sector bids for Ras Mohaisen Independent Water Plant (IWP)

SWPC is pleased to announce receiving the private sector bids for Ras Mohaisen Independent Water Plant (IWP) from the following consortia:

• Acciona Company

• ACWA Power, Haji Abdullah Alireza & Partners Company and AlKifah holding.

Ras Mohaisen IWP will produce 300,000 m3/day of potable water. It will also feature storage tanks with a capacity of 600,000 cubic meters (equivalent to two operating days) and an electrical substation. The Commercial Operation Date of the project is expected to be in Quarter 2, 2028.
