About the Sharakah Initiative:
The Saudi Water Partnership Company launched the Sharakah Initiative to prepare recent graduates with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in various scientific disciplines. At the heart of the Sharakah Initiative is the belief that leadership is essential at every career stage and that practical experience is crucial for effective learning. The program is structured around work tasks aimed at transferring and applying knowledge, experiences, and skills across diverse contexts. This approach helps participants enhance their capabilities, performance, and productivity. Our goal is for participants to engage in practical activities while receiving training and opportunities for professional development, equipping them to emerge as future leaders. The initiative was inaugurated in 2020 by the Saudi Water Partnership Company as part of its commitment to social responsibility and alignment with Vision 2030.
Purpose of the Sharakah Initiative:
The Sharakah Initiative aims to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experiences related to water allocation and to prepare participants for employment opportunities arising from privatization across relevant industries.
Launch Timeline of the Sharakah Initiative:
The first iteration of the program began in 2020 and lasted 21 weeks.
The second iteration was launched in 2022 and also ran for 21 weeks.
In 2023, the third iteration extended to 13 weeks.
The fourth edition is scheduled for release in late 2024.
Target Groups:
The program targets outstanding recent graduates with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in: Economics, Engineering, Law, and Finance

Number of Trainees Since Inception:
Since its inception in 2020, over 100 learners, both male and female, have participated in the Sharakah Program.
